dcm4chee-3.x is a project which aims to re-architect the dcm4chee-2.x archive.  This effort will focus on updating the underlying technologies with the latest version of JBoss, EJB3 (for the back end services), and JBoss Seam (for the user interface), and using Subversion for source code control.

Development on this project began in July, 2007.  The first dcm4chee component affected by this is the Audit Record Repository (dcm4chee-arr).  Work is being done in parallel to the dcm4chee-2.x code line so that new development will not impact the production dcm4chee release.
