  Note

  1. Whether to report failure of one or more of the storage protocol elements as a failure of the protocol is at the discretion of the performing system.   2. Similarly, whether the need to complete and record performed storage protocol elements merits delaying the creation of the Performed Protocol objects in which that would be recorded is left to the discretion of the implementation.
